This is not a start of a series, but I just wanted to share a list of anime that I am currently watching or re-watching. Just like dramas, I like to watch different anime series at the same time. When I get tired watching one series, I go to the other. It takes me a bit longer to finish the show, but it keeps me interested.
Ai Yori Aoshi
Episode 12 out of 24
I started this anime many years ago, but had it on hold for a while. I tend to really love romantic comedies; it was what got me into the anime in the first place. The anime dragged on for a couple episodes, and my interest began to fade. I recently began watching it again. I had to re-watch some episodes to remember what was going on in the show.
Episode 2 out of 24
I started this anime last year, but I have not gotten very far. It is an unique show. It parodies and pokes fun at different anime and concepts, and I love the show for that. It got pushed lower down my priority list as I started re-watching a lot of my favourite childhood anime.
Speaking about re-watching favourite childhood anime, Death Note is one of those. As gruesome as this show is, it is very comical and interesting. The plot always has me thinking and on my toes. One of my favourite anime characters, L, is one of the stars of this anime. His uncanny behaviour and shrewdness is somewhat attractive to me. This anime makes me wonder what I would do if I had a Death Note.
Episode 6 out of 12 (Or somewhere around there)
This is a cringe-worthy anime, but for some reason I caught myself watching episode after episode. Some of the storylines and characters make me question why I am even giving this show the time of day. However, in the end I still really like the show for some reason. Right now, this show has been on a bit of a pause for the past few months as I focus on other series.
This is one of my favourite anime. I feel like I am constantly re-watching this anime. It was just so good and brings back a lot of memories of when I was first interested in anime. This anime is a good mix of action, comedy and romance. Not to mention there are a lot of good-looking characters such as Inuyasha, Sesshomaru and Miroku.
Kaichou wa Maid-Sama
Episode 7 out of 26
This is one of my latest obsessions. I started this anime two weeks ago. I saw screenshots of this anime all over social media like We Heart It and Tumblr, so it piqued my interest. Surprisingly, it is a very amusing and fascinating anime to watch. I already love Takumi! Hopefully, I will finish this anime at the end of this month!
Seitokai no Ichizon
Episode 6 out of 12
This is another parody anime that I recently started. There are so many puns and quips with reference to other anime. It is hard to miss them. These jokes and the outlandish behaviour of the characters make this show addictive. Hopefully by the end of the series Sugisaki would get his ultimate harem.
Zero no Tsukaima: Futatsuki no Kishi
Episode 9 out of 12
This is an anime that I have been watching for a while. There is a lot of romance, magic, comedy, war, and it can get a bit ecchi. Sometimes, Louise can annoy me and that turns me off from the show just a bit, but overall, it seems to be a good show so far!
That’s my list of currently watching anime! What anime are you currently watching? Tell me in the comments below!
