Taeyong officially debuted in the unit NCT U in 2016. Their debut song “The 7th Sense” was released April 9, 2016. Taeyong is also part of another subunit, NCT 127, who made their debut with “Fire Truck” on July 10, 2016. Prior to official debut, Taeyong was part of SM Entertainment’s trainee group, SM Rookies. He also featured on Red Velvet’s song, “Be Natural“. Who can forget the famous opening lyrics to his featured rap in the song?

Taeyong is my favourite member of NCT. He has a jawline that cuts straight into my heart. I am not going to lie. It was his looks that initially got me interested in him, which is probably pretty shallow of me. However, as I learnt more about him, I also learnt about his talent. Not to mention he also has a deep voice and tone that is well suited for rapping.
